Providing Scholarships - Fueling Futures

The Giving Foundation for Women & Children isn’t your typical nonprofit, it’s a movement.

Founded in 2010 by Washington, DC news anchor, Shawn Yancy - The GFWC provides scholarships to young mothers in college and vital resources to economically disadvantaged children in underserved communities.

To date, we’ve provided support and resources to more than 7,000 women and children across the DC region.
